Character design

I've done this character design for a book I've written. It's about mid-life crisis, my publisher doesn't want to use it... and I'm a bit like..hey, this is great! Am I wrong. I'd appreciate your opinions please.

I was surfin' away like you do and I came across one of my FAVOURITE Blog sites New York Nitty Gritty. He had a great pic of a biker and an old chap gorpin' at him from the curb. I laughed and then saw a FedEx van in the bg. Bing! This stoopid joke was born. Thanks for the inspiration.
